Jason Paul Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Hey John, Your post in the "Light Winds" thread regarding clockwork made me wonder if you've ever thought of making a training video. I know it's time consuming and expensive generally, but it wouldn't necessarily need to be professional quality. Or better yet, what about a series of short videos - like Randy's tutorials on GWTW, but for Revs. That would be cool. To my knowledge, Dave's video is the only advanced video out there. It's a great video with lots of useful stuff, but something new would be nice. Something covering things like basics, clockwork, light wind flying, even dogstake and one-handed flying. I don't know, it's just a thought. It's not the kind of thing I have the skill for at the present (flying or video-wise). And I totally understand the idea that I'm some guy on the internet seemingly asking you to do more work for very little if any return. Thanks, Jason Quote
John Barresi Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 All taken in context Jason, your sentiment is understood and appreciated. The only hurdle here is time and assistance... Mini-tutorials (ala RandyG) have been on my to do list for several months, but I currently don't have the time between various organizational roles, travel, competition, personal life and work on Kitelife. I hope to do it sooner than later... And would probably put them in the subscriber's section, all things considered. Quote
