  2. My only beef with these kites is the size. Small kites are hard to learn on. they are twitchy and the beetle (even if it is nearly impossible to break) does not like wind over about 7- 8 mph. Any more than that and it flexes unless you add the high wind extras. A nice full size kite (7 -8ft) with carbon tubes (not hot rods) will work better. A broken stick is under $5 to replace. Go to your local kite store and find a kite that is suitable for a beginner but you won't outgrow in a month
  3. You don't need to buy the same kite to learn how to fly multiple kites. Start with one on some kite of handle and then progress to more kite(s). Ray uses the tails to slow his kites down. He does not believe in vented kites. They also look cool...
  4. Glad to see KL back up. Too bad the old providers droppped the ball.
