hello newbie to rev kites i want to know the basic line sets for enjoying rev flying in various wind/space conditions.... what do people do with line sets... the set that comes with my vented, SUL and SLE are all the same 90 lbs, 85 feet... doesn't make much sense to me.... what about SUL in light wind, using the same line as the vented? strange ... can someone tell me how to start a basic assemble of line sets ? we don't have a kite shop here in RI, and a few of us want to make a kite co-op sort of network to make line sets together... advice? I had a very good time at the njskc I competed in NIP! I wasn't sure if I was going to compete but we went anyway when we got there Scott is like "this is what your going to do" and showed me the figures (Circle over diamond, *shudder* lap and snap, and jump) and my mom is like "sign here " and holds out a form so I entered out of 4 people I got ! fun expreince btw i saw someone flying as Obe-wan kannobe fighting darth vader! (darth won) a 13 year old kid flu to "halo" music!

thanks, John and Thereasa for looking out for Wen We got some help from friends on the field in Newport non-festival event....and realize that we shall prepare a repairing kit to go with us. Wen is digging deeper into the field now and had been flying on Scott's supply since June. Today we will start asembling a set to begin with. thank you for the tips. we also need to prepare line sets with different length and strength for practice in varied wind/space circumstances. with a grateful heart Litsong ps: wen's mom is not very good at Rev now, She is getting comfortable with it so it's a good start.
