Sorry it's so late folks, I was just busy with family stuff this morning. Getting ready for the drawing. So far we have 1-materdaddy 2-paramedic 3-jeepinjeepin 4-mikeklaiber 5-flight120 That's in order as to posting "I'm in" as the beginning of their post. I will enter that number range into the RNG and see what we get. I hope that's everyone. Sent from my XT1254 using KiteLife mobile app

This Karma drawing is for 3 single line kites (skydog kites 40" jet fighter, Into the breeze U.S.A. flag, and a New tech 14" circle kite) all 3 kites are brand new never flown. The packages might be sandy due to being in the same bag as other kites. Also included is 1 year subscription to KiteLife! The RNG will select the winner on June 3rd. Enter with "I'm in" per the usual procedure. Good luck everyone! Standard Karma Note from the Moderators This is a Karma Drawing. The winner of the drawing is expected to pay it forward by offering their own prize for the next drawing. Please do not enter unless you are willing to offer your own prize, preferably not the prize you just won. Drawings should be open for entry approximately 2 weeks, and the next drawing should be posted as soon as possible to keep the Karma rolling. These drawings are run by and for KiteLife forum members and DO NOT require a paid subscription to enter. The moderating team only ensures that your drawing post contains all of the pertinent information (drawing date/time, adequate prize description, drawing rules) before approval. If you are a KiteLife forum member from the US or Canada, you are eligible to enter. You do not have to be a paid subscriber. Members from Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii are welcome to enter the Karma drawings provided they are willing to pay half of the Karma prize shipping cost. The method and timing of the payment will be agreed upon between the two parties after the drawing for a particular prize. Here is the link to the original Rules and Guidelines thread: http://kitelife.com/forum/topic/5426-rules-and-guidelines-please-read/ The mechanism for the drawing itself is entirely at the discretion of the person offering the prize. In the past, entry number has been determined either by order of entry or by the post number in which the member declares entry into the drawing. The drawings have been performed using the RNG method (http://www.random.org/sequences/) or by choosing the numbers out of a hat (I believe an adorable daughter did the picking in that scenario). The only requirement is that the method of selection is clearly spelled out in the drawing post. Entry into the drawings is done by STARTING a post in the drawing thread with the entry phrase chosen by the drawing host (Traditionally "I'm in", but "I LIKE" has been used as well). In order to remove any confusion or misinterpretation, only entries with posts that START with the phrase will be considered. As with all other KiteLife drawings, bantering is encouraged. This is for fun after all.

Who is your favorite kite shop at the moment?
zachprism01 replied to John Barresi's topic in Open Topic
OSK "Ocean Shores Kites" They are amazing and very informative. They know their product inside and out. Great customer service and the only people I buy Kites from. They can and will fix anything. Whatever it takes to get you involved in the sport and up and flying. There are there for anybody!!! Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2 -
Thank you Tmadz great insight and a perfect way to look at it. Thank you and happy flying. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

Thanks guys. Just a stressful night and wanted to vent. Thanks for listening and the positive outlook. I look forward to good winds. As long as its not raining here in the pacific northwest (very rare) I will be out flying and learning. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

Well thanks for all the great information. That helps answer most of my questions plus gives me ammo for the wifey as to why I need this gear. Its not my plans anytime soon to compete but I would like to get more into the trick flying and gain skills in that area. To this point I have been attracted to the foils for the "arm pulling power" they posses. I look forward to the more skilled flying of duel like tricks as well as more REV flying. Thanks again it has been very helpful. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

Any input on the prism zephyr kite?! Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

Thank you for all the good input. I will look into different line sets and play with that to start. I am open to any makes really but I have only flown prisms and love them. Thanks again Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

I am curious as to what people think and the prism hypnotist to do tricks on and free style flying. What might be its limitations as well as some good flight lines and adjustments. I am trying to decide if I am going to step up to competition level flying how far would the hypnotist get me before an upgrade to a different kite would be needed. Any information would be great. Looking to do some slack line tricks and what not. Also what would be a good competition stepping stone kite? Thanks for the input to come! Zachprism01 Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

No need to stress John! Congrats Tim. I hope you enjoy your new foil. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

That's the way it always work. Once you buy something it tends to go your way!! Oh well like you said either way I will have a B2. But I have to wait until Jan. 15th. That will give me time to save up. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

I agree. Keep all of them. I have two months to conjur up all the good spirits in my favor for me to add this to my kite bag!! Time for some major good karma to be happening on my end first tho. But just so everyone knows I am very thankful and appreciative of what John does for all of us here by giving away his personal possessions for the rest of us to enjoy!! Thanks again JB you do amazing work.. I will be a kitelife subscriber for life!!! Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

I think it's amazing how easy it is to come up with a reason/excuse (depending on how you look at it) to get a new kite but how hard it is to come up with a reason/excuse to get rid of any kites!!! It's a beautiful thing!!! This would be a great addition to my kite bag..... (plenty of room)

Well thank you reef runner. I enjoy all the friendly banter on here. I have found tons of great information and the videos also help a lot for the visuals. JB is real. I have shaken his hand unless he has a stunt double for the public appreances. I look forward to more positive help throughout our journeys in the kite world. Take care and be safe all.
