  1. Thanks for the input. I'll run down to the kite shop here in town tomorrow and see what I can come up with for a prize.
  2. I'm new to all of this, but loving every minute of it, especially how supportive and friendly the kite community is. I was looking at the dual line stunt kites like the Prism Quantum as well as the Revs. At this point the only other kites I have are the Snapshot 1.9 I got a couple of weeks ago and am learning to fly and a G-Kites Delta Conyne that I've flown once and is still like new. Would that serve as a Karma donation?
  3. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions once I get it. Thanks everybody!
  4. Wow! I can't believe it! I am not going to sleep tonight! Thank you!
  5. I just got into kite flying after being introduced to a Prism Snapshot 1.9 speed foil at the kite festival in Long Beach, WA. Bought one of my own and have had it out several times now. It's fun and pulls great, but last week at another kite event in Seaside, Oregon I saw some folks flying stunt kites and really liked the way they seemed to handle. So I've been looking at the different ones out there and am liking what I see about the Quantum. Any feedback or suggestions for a 60 year old flier new to the sport?
  6. You can win it, I have no problem with that, my friend. Just be sure to give them my name and address to send it to.
  7. I don't get no respect!
  8. Now hold on a dang minute BBailey! Don't the new guy get any special consideration?
  9. Actually, we're everywhere. For the last 15 years we have lived and traveled all over the country fulltime in our motorhome, making our living on the road by publishing an RV travel newspaper called the Gypsy Journal and writing books. I'm brand new to kite flying and looking forward to sharing it with our readers. This is a perfect hobby for RVers - no huge investment, no heavy equipment to carry, no license required, and they can do it just about anywhere.
  10. It was our honor, John. Thank you for taking so much time with us when you were so busy. We really enjoyed the group flying demonstration you guys put on. It was especially impressive knowing that you all had never flown together like that before. My wife Terry and I are eager to get a pair of Revs and join the fun!
