  1. I figured it out. I confused this one with the Nexus.
  2. Uhm, ok. I must be confused with someone else.
  3. Anybody know where to get these?
  4. Any links to this stuff or better yet, a close up of the set up on the kite itself?
  5. Here's mine I'm sure it'll be fun with any of the tails I put on it.
  6. Here's mine... Haven't flown it so I couldn't really review it.
  7. Ok. Dollar store didn't have any but apparently did at some point. Michaels had some great choices to choose from. At checkout, the cashier hooked me up with a great coupon. 50% off one item!! Mission accomplished! 5 bucks
  8. Here's some reading.... http://www.gwtwforum.com/index.php?topic=6873.0;wap2
  9. Funny thing.... Nothing on their website but right next to Michaels
  10. I just realized there's a Michaels at the bottom of my street. So tomorrow I'll be going to see the options they have. They have the ones you sent the link for.
  11. Have you seen these?? Two different colors to choose from. http://www.thekiteshoppe.com/products/Prism-ILLUSION-Y2K.html
  12. I appreciate the suggestion. Really I do. I really don't need THAT many straps is all. 4, maybe 5 at most. All the rest of my kites have them. I'm taking them out this weekend to take pictures of them and I'll know the exact number I'll need after that. Then I'll make my decision.
  13. Wouldn't you be happier with a 2 meter quad for the pulling effect? Not knowing your size or skill level of course.
  14. I'm beginning to think that 6 pre-made straps from either Prism or Into The Wind might be in order. For 10 bucks and done.
  15. I'm curious about a link for those since I'm in automotive. Never thought they'd have them. Sewing notions?? I'm not as bad as OCKD but I did get a VERY good laugh at that!! Ok, maybe OKD. Seriously though, my only reason for the straps is just so a spar doesn't drop out and get lost like I've heard so many do.
  16. I found the lights I was talking about. It looks like windpowersports had them but the link is no good so not sure if they can still get them. I just wonder if the finger lights are brighter. I'm certain the battery life on these is much longer but how long can one fly at night? LOL. I know THAT answer.
  17. Pick a woven line?? My other thought is how intense the heat of these lights is and possibly damaging the kite.
  18. I'd rather lean towards the finger lights just for piece of mind but how the heck would they connect to the kite???
  19. Moonlights?
  20. Hmmm...... Is that your rev in the video?
  21. My only concern with those would be not being able to fully secure them from shifting back and forth on the kite when spinning it. Unless I'm missing something. The ones I'm talking about had elastic on both ends so it was completely secure.
  22. I'm curious if anyone might have any suggestions for velcro kite straps. I've seen the ones Prism offers that are 3 for 5 bucks. Those are great but curious of any other options that are out there. I like to use them just to keep the spars secure with the kite in the sleeve. Keeps everything nice and organized. Ideas? Suggestions?
  23. I remember back around the mid 2000's I was flying my Rev. with a guy in Seattle and he had some really cool small lights that held those flat coin batteries and he had a set of 5 I believe. They would mount via a small elastic rubber band cord on all four points and the fifth one sat top dead center. I had the website bookmarked on my desktop but since then my desktop decided to loose everything on it including 5yrs worth of photos. I've seen some really cheap ones on amazon that are pretty much disposable and I'm pretty sure have a 6mth shelf life. They kinda look like a button. The one's I'm talking about above look more like the old dome lights for older cars. Ring a bell?
  24. I agree!! Great kite and great price!! Anyone looking for a fun kite should snatch this one!!
