  1. I'm looking for a bubble recipe that works in dry Idaho air. At D river my bubbles would last a minute or more but at home just a few seconds. I've tried glycerin and Karo syrup but I think the air is too dry.

      have you tried the glycerin with joy dish washing liquid i found on giant bubbles it lasts the longest

      You're certainly on the right track. Personally, I'd recommend using regular old "Dawn" dishwashing liquid (no antibacterial or "Ultra")for a number of chemical reasons. However, let's not get too "techy" as to "why" at this point.

      This is the base recipe that I've been using here in the Bay Area for years and it's been great.
