A Blonde had a near death
experience when she went horseback
riding the other day. Everything was
going fine until the horse started
bouncing out of control.
She tried with all her might to hang
on, but was thrown off.
Just when things could not possibly
get worse, her foot got caught in the
stirrup. When this happened, she fell
head first to the ground.
Her head continued to bounce harder
as the horse did not stop or even slow
down.
Just as she was giving up hope and
losing consci...

The police recently busted a man selling "secret formula" pills he claimed gave eternal youth. When going through their files they noticed it was the fifth time he was caught for commiting this same criminal medical fraud.
He had earlier been arrested in 1794, 1856, 1928 and 1983...........

The doctor told me
"Physical exercise is good for you."
I know that I should do it, but my body is out of shape, so I have worked out this easy daily program I can do anywhere:
Monday:
Beat around the bush.
Jump to conclusions.
Climb the walls.
Wade through paperwork.
Tuesday:
Drag my heels.
Push my luck.
Make mountains out of mole hills.
Hit the nail on the head.
Wednesday:
Bend over backwards.
Jump on the band wagon.
Balance the books.
Run around in circles.
Thursday:
Toot my own horn....

I'm not saying that the customer service at my bank is bad, but when I went in the other day and asked the teller to check my balance...
She leaned over the counter and pushed me.

Just got this in from a reliable source.
It seems that there is a virus out there
called the Senile Virus that even the most
advanced programs cannot take care of.
So be warned, it appears to affect those
of us who were born before 1964!
Symptoms of Senile Virus:
1. Causes you to send same e-mail twice.
2. Causes you to send blank e-mail.
3. Causes you to send to wrong person.
4. Causes you to send back to person who sent it to you.
5. Causes you to forget to attach the attachment.
6. C...

"Replying To An Invitation To A Scientists' Ball"
Pierre and Marie Curie were radiating enthusiasm.
Einstein thought it would be relatively easy to attend.
Volta was electrified, and Archimedes was buoyant at the
thought.
Ampere was worried he wasn't up to current research.
Ohm resisted the idea at first.
Boyle said he was under too much pressure.
Edison thought it would be an illuminating experience.
Watt reckoned it would be a good way to let off steam.
Wilbur Wright accepted, prov...

I'm looking for a bubble recipe that works in dry Idaho air. At D river my bubbles would last a minute or more but at home just a few seconds. I've tried glycerin and Karo syrup but I think the air is too dry.

have you tried the glycerin with joy dish washing liquid i found on giant bubbles it lasts the longest

You're certainly on the right track. Personally, I'd recommend using regular old "Dawn" dishwashing liquid (no antibacterial or "Ultra")for a number of chemical reasons. However, let's not get too "techy" as to "why" at this point.
This is the base recipe that I've been using here in the Bay Area for years and it's been great.
1.Measure 6 cups of DISTILLED water (it makes a difference...)into a container, then add 1 cup of Dawn i...

Ah Grandpa, it seems that Kitelife "chopped" my reply leaving off the additional steps. Send me a PM if you want the recipe. Sorry about that.

A public school teacher was arrested today at John F. Kennedy International airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a compass, a slide-rule and a calculator. At a morning press conference, Attorney General Eric Holder said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-Gebra movement.
He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.
'Al-Gebra is a problem for us', the Attorney General...
