Dethlore
Thank you! So as an introduction - I grew up flying single lines in my backyard. My brother got a cool stunt kite that was HUGE (maybe 5' wide, but it was huge to me at the time), but of course I couldn't touch it (being only 7 years old). I've always loved kites but never really got out again until a couple years ago. I got used Skydog SDT 2.8 quad-line. I'm pretty much a beginner, but holy smokes that kite is a BLAST! I get some pretty turbulent wind here so I ended up selling it. I just recently got a steal of a deal on a colorwave stunt for $3, an old Prism Nexus for $20 and an old Prism Mirage for $20. Both Prisms are in need of some minor repair - sail tensioners and cut lines. So here I am now getting back into flying! These stunt kites have been a lot easier to put up here, but I will some day get that foil back when I have time to travel away from the house to fly. My kids are loving my fascination with kites and want to get into it themselves as well. So here I am, in Northern Utah, actually looking for a small amount of leader (don't need a full spool), so if anyone has a yard or two they'd be willing to part with, let me know!
