E2 Torn Sail

I purchased my E2 new and it was drop shipped from Prism one month ago. I only have about 4 hours of flying time on it. I met with WACKOS, a group of flyers, recently and within as few minutes of flying in 5MPH wind an "L" shaped tare developed at

the stand off on the left side of the kite. I stopped flying right away and most of them thought it should be sent in for repair rather than taped.

I've written Prism an email but no responce yet.

What do you guys think should be done to the kite and what should Prism do?

well if you send it back you be a couple weeks without for a small tear it isnt worth it www.tearaid.com sells the best patch tape aroung simple clean the surface and tape both sides nice and tight with no bubbles and you wont even know its there i do it all the time kites in time will tear or break its part of the hobby
