Jimbo
I built my first SLK over the last 2 weeks. It a crown kite, like Peter Dalphins or Andre's stuff. No flight pics yet, but will have some soon. The fittings are all custom made by me I ended up using purple and burgundy for my kite fittings. The Kite Shoppe
Very nice! What's your wing span? That's great that you can make your fittings! Sure helps for when you need an odd shape connector. I'm guessing they are some sort of injection molding? Good luck on you first flight! Jimbo
The diameter is just under 8 feet. its framed in SS P200 spars, cut to 16.250 inches. There are 96 spars in total. The fitting are hand poured polyurethane plastic. It may fly at Dieppe this year, and at the Alexander Graham bell estate, but not by me, lol. I dont get out much (To festivals) so who knows where else Jim-

Jimbo
For anyone interested, I have a web page for the Cody. www.jimbo64.com/cody which will have a step by step guide to building one like mine. Right now it has a few more pictures of the above cody, but soon it will have it all. I'm building another one with a few changes to the plans, and I'm using it to do the step by step as well.
