Line tangles

I noticed that there are different areas on my hypnotist that my lines occasionally tangle on when I get goofed up trying tricks. There are some things that I could do to smooth those areas out, perhaps with a tiny spot of silicone sealant here and there.

Does anyone do this sort of thing, or am I just being a clutz by getting lines caught in different spots on the kite (and tip wraps too :confused!: )

Hey JW...

I get the lines wrapped and caught all the time on my Hypnotist when I do Lazy Susans or Axels. I just figure I'll figure out how not to do that with more practice. I am really afraid of breaking it sometimes when I get a bad tip wrap.

Interesting idea, smoothing out the lines of the kite. I would be worried about adding weight, though.

Many years ago, for some reason.. TT used beeswax on his lines. I'm not sure if it was to much, or just wrong.. but it didn't end well. BB Penny
