MADKITER Posted July 10, 2004 Report Posted July 10, 2004 In each time frame (week or month) you post an article on "How To". You decide if you want to teach everything or just the basics. Quote
John Barresi Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 We'll try and rally up some contributors, if you have some candidates in mind... Please let them know we welcome all. Quote
codykiteguy Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 I am not sure just how this would work here but I have been known to teach a class or two on how to build a Cody in the true taditional style. If there is an interest let me know Quote
John Barresi Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 Yes Rick! If you'd be game for putting together a basic cody plan and instructions, that would be an asset to both Kitelife and our readers... Go for it! Quote
codykiteguy Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Okay, I can do this BUT it would all be in written text, I don't understand how to put in drawings on the site. I was taught how to build a Cody by the BEST in Europe and what I would show is how you can build an authentic, close as possible to how S.F. Cody done it War Kite in what ever size you choose using the info I provide Quote
John Barresi Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 I can scan anything you sketch or otherwise draw, which would be crucial... With appropriate text, it could be a real masterpiece... Even done in segments, over 2-3 issues if it proves to better suit your vision. Quote
MADKITER Posted July 15, 2004 Author Report Posted July 15, 2004 It's refreshing to see that someone is offering their "know how" to help others. I need to ask everyone reading... If you know something (anything), offer it up. Let John be the judge of weather or not he needs it. You have to know we are not all pro. Kite flyers out here. Some of us are all self taught and only 3 kite years old, others are brand new and dying to know everything RIGHT NOW. There is a need for the things you know. Thank you. Quote
codykiteguy Posted July 15, 2004 Report Posted July 15, 2004 I think tomorrow I am going to get a scanner from a friend, if it works with my computer I should be able send drawings to John to post and then follow it up with text info once I see the drawings on the site. Where am I going to be going here on the site to do this? Let me confirm that I have a scanner and it works with my computer before anything more happens Quote
John Barresi Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 Hey Rick... Any news on the Cody plans for Kitelife? I know you're busy with talk show bookings after your feature article in Kiting Magazine, but we still love ya! Quote
