This is my first time posting and I was really enthused to find this place.

I just purchased a used Revolution (I think it might be a Rev I) and I didn't get the instructional video with it. Does anybody out there have a copy they'd be willing to sell?

This whole four-line kite flying thing is totally new to me - in fact, I have been accused of going over to the "dark side" - and I'm going to need all the help I can get to make a go of it.

Thanks

If you don't have one Penny I am sure I have one here that I can send. Let me know. As always you can post any questions on this board and there are tons of very experienced pilots here that will be more than willing to help you out. Welcome to the group - you found a great bunch! :w00t:

Thanks penny and wind for your help. We hope to be flying soon! With the help of you guys it looks like moving over to the dark side just might be a lot of fun.

I got an email that didn't say much from wind yesterday that had a UPS tracking number in it. So I'm guessing that I'll have a video in hand very soon!! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

For dark sided people you're alright!!!

Persh,

I got the video out to you, you should be receiving it pretty quickly. We have been totally swamped here so sorry for the delayed posting and lack of more information. The wind has been awesome the last two weeks and I am stuck in the office - life can be so cruel sometimes! :censored::ninja: Hope I can get out this weekend and get my fix! Let me know how things go with the video, excellent tool for any Rev pilot. As always, post any questions you may have here and there are plenty of us "dark side" flyers here that will help ya out.

Something like this?

I just made an 8-frame image in Fireworks... Rotating the image a little in each one, and set to 1/2 second between animations.

It's a little rough, but that's the idea. :censored:

He he he...basically did the same thing. Just made an animated GIF file using Corel PhotoPaint. Cropped the picture and then rotated it about 5 degrees for 8-10 frames then reversed it. Was going to try and make one in Flash but didn't know if the avatar could be accepted as a .swf file. There are a bunch of free animated gif programs on the web that can help. Here is a couple links for some free or trial programs.

Bunch of animation programs.

Hope this helps ya. :censored:

Thanks Kent. The package arrived and I have spent a little time with the video. Yes, it's real basic but it's just what I need for the moment. One must learn how to turn off the lights before one can really enter the dark side.
