My newest project is nearly finished, just the bridle and flight test is missing.

So a little teaser picture is in order:

Vital data:

Wingspan 260cm - 102.3 inces
Height 106cm - 41.7 inches
Leadingedge 165cm Yes this is a true fullsize kite
Weight 47g - 1.66oz

Which I think makes it the world lightest fullsize kite

Bridle is done as well, and we have a final end weight of 47.3 grams.

Flight test is still outstanding,

need to either find a hall big enough or a zero wind day. Since it is designed mainly for indoor use, besides it size.

That is CRAZY light... less than 1/2 the weight of my ProDancer. Did you ever get any tricks out of the Spectre ? I remember hearing that you & PAW were working on getting it tuned for some tricks ( I think... ). I can only guess that with the light weight of this one, there aren't any tricks in it... I can barely get an axel & 540 out of my ProDancer.

Hi,

PAW managed to get some tricks out of the spectre, under very specific wind conditions, namely below 1mph. Where the wind preasure was low enough not to simply blow the spectre away during the tricks.

This one will most likely not survive trying a trick in the first place.

And its more like 1/3th the weight of the pro dancer
