SparkieRob
Nice shots. The bottom one of the PoloVTD would be, at a guess, in the 40's kmh with the 3 frame. Really sweet wind for that kite.
Tmadz
Sweet. I definitely have to put that on my wish list. Very jealous right now. Temps have been down to -0 F lately. No time to get out and fly in that weather. Winding lines in the snow is the worst.
West Australian
Yeh 40 ish would be about right for that bottom Pic, It takes a lot to fill that sail. It is a great Kite Tmadz. Cant say I have ever had to wind lines in snow, doesn't snow much in Perth...
SHBKF
Quad lines in the snow are just like winter backpacking, any mistake is a big mistake. First time I flew my Sedgwick Cool was in the snow. Wrangled the lines for about an hour as the wind blew sweetly. Finally sorted out the mess I'd made & then the wind dropped. But still I flew until the sun went down. Took a bit of determination. Also learned to bring my reading glasses so I can see the snarled line better.
West Australian
Wow determination alright. Well done. I can't say I contend with any of those problems myself. Nice big field is nice.
