RobB Posted June 15, 2014 Report Posted June 15, 2014 After almost a full day of yard work on Father's Day, we dropped our rakes & clippers and headed to the local town beach. With only a few hours left in the day, this is what we managed to get in the air... As the kids are getting older, they are showing more interest in kiting... much to my relief. The kids got me a Jolly Roger kite for Father's Day ! My boy is learning to fly duallies, but still thinks it's just as fun to do a massive crash as flying around ! Just wish we had done less yard work and more flying, but that's just something to remember for next year... 5 Quote
Tmadz Posted June 16, 2014 Report Posted June 16, 2014 My second oldest wanted to go out today as well. High winds most of the day so we had fun with some arm pulling Quote
RobB Posted June 16, 2014 Author Report Posted June 16, 2014 Awesome... looks like a Snapshot. We flew the Snapshot 1.2 after the Jolly Roger took a considerable beating ! Quote
Tmadz Posted June 16, 2014 Report Posted June 16, 2014 1.9 for the big boys. Blowing 20-30 most of the day. The Jolly Roger looks like a lot of fun too. That'll get kids interested. Maybe a dragon one too. Quote
RobB Posted June 16, 2014 Author Report Posted June 16, 2014 A Snapshot 1.9 would send my son flying ! I don't think he weighs more than 70 lbs.... Quote
RobB Posted June 16, 2014 Author Report Posted June 16, 2014 DId someone say SnapShot ? Found another picture of Mick flying the SnapShot 1.2 Quote
SHBKF Posted June 16, 2014 Report Posted June 16, 2014 SHBKF says "Them kids obviously have the kite gene." Quote
RobB Posted June 17, 2014 Author Report Posted June 17, 2014 If you make something fun... They like to do it. It took getting hit by the out-of-control Jolly Roger to really get them laughing ! 3 Quote
