Edits can drastically change the content of a post (such as my transfer blog) and bring new information. It can also alert folks to an active discussion. Shouldn't be too hard to change Quote

Go find the submit post code and there will be a place where it sets a flag for the post to be "new" Copy and paste to the edit code. Very simple Quote
