shopteacher Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 QUESTION... we have finished compiling the DVD for Up the River 2006 (FUN STUFF after the fact) if we include ALL the footage including almost all the demos from both saturday and sunday (nearly 3 hours) then it goes down to LONG PLAY encoding (EP on a VCR tape) if we cut back to Only the COMPS, HOT TRICKS, AND MYSTERY BALLET... we can encode at the higher quality what is the general preference among those involved? Personally...I tend to want it ALL... and I want it NOW (to quote Freddy Mercury of Queen) a 2 DVD set is a possible option... just takes more time for me to git er done cait has been swampted with senior moments and has not done much with the cover art yet... LOL cant wait to see y'all in LC order your DVD's with enough time for me to copy them and deliver... enjoy specify if you want the single or double disk set all proceeds benefit the UTR 2007 festival... we were thinking of a theme for next year... mardi gras? shopteacher Posted March 9, 2006 Author Report Posted March 9, 2006 DVD PRODUCTION UPDATE cover art is DONE... cait has worked her magic once again ALL competitors are featured. the "MASS ASCENSION" of indoor kites was awesome... truly fitting for the cover of our DVD both the singe disc and double disc edition will get the cover art... with a special bonus inside let me know if you want to purchase a copy of the DVD... 5 dollars goes to the HonkerTech program for the furtherment of technolgy and COOL TOYS! single disc=$15 double disc=$20 (the double disc has the same performances as the single but encoded at a higher rate... better quality SP as opposed to EP for your videophiles) Captain Chaos A Quote
