I'm replacing my Zero G's nose spine. My problem is removing the fitting on the end of the nose of the broken spine. Once that's done the rest should be fairly easy. I'd sure appreciate some wisdom on this.

HMMM? 1st time I've heard of anyone needing to replace one, so not sure here. If they super gluedd the fitting, heat might work. Epoxy would be something else altogether. Might call Prism or email, and ask. They might send you that nose fitting for putting on a replacement spar. It is a special piece isn't it?

Thanks for your response. I was flying the Zero G with my granddaughter. The wind picked up and I made a serious error. The kite started for the ground and I kept tension on the string; so easy to have let go of the line. A perfect nose dive. It broke the nose spine. I've had this kite for four years. Feeling a little bit foolish. On their site Prism says, "This is the rod that is on the front half of the kite, it comes with all the works for an easy swap." I'll try the heat. Just maybe that will do it. About to give it a try.

Score! Ten seconds with the heat gun and it came right off. Glad to have a silicone pot lifter! Thanks so much! Now to put this baby back together and treat it better.
