8thelephant Posted June 10, 2019 Report Posted June 10, 2019 A while back, I read somewhere (not on this forum) that some of the Prism Snapshot foils could be converted to quad-line. I can't seem to find that old tutorial but am planning to try it with my Snapshot 1.8. Does anyone have a guide to doing so or thoughts about advantages/downsides to it? Fair Winds, -8th Quote
riffclown Posted June 10, 2019 Report Posted June 10, 2019 The Snapshot 2.5 comes prebridled as a 4line and only needs lines/handles to complete the transformation.. You might want to take a peek at this topic. Quote
riffclown Posted June 10, 2019 Report Posted June 10, 2019 Definitely worth your time to do. I've done a lot of these conversions and I'm of the opinion the 1.8 Sport size is the absolute lower limit for these conversions. Here's a video on John Barresi and Scott Benz with a Rev and a Symphony 2.2(.4) I converted. 1 Quote

I understand that the 1.8 is a bit short for this but just thought it would be fun and give a wider speed range Me and a soaring buddy did similar line crosses a few weeks ago. Our lines didn't fair as well as yours but it was great fun. 1 Quote
