  2. Rules of thumb for stacking different sized kites is the smaller kite should be in front. If you are stacking multiple kites with different venting, the most vented should be in front and progress to the kite in back with the least venting. Attachment points. the front kite may need a stiffer frame as this will be where much of the force is concentrated. You will start noticing the difference when you get 3 or more kites stacked. As for the attachment points. look specifically where the bridle is attached to the kites. Those points are generally the points which should be extended back to the identical points on the next kite back. it is critical that all of your stacking lines be exactly the same length. Even minute differences in line length here will affect the stack stability.
