I'm trying to find wrist straps that would be able to cinch up around my wrists. I have a tendency to hold too loose, and at times the strap just slides right off. If you've ever played on a wii those would be ideal , can't figure out where to find those clips though. Thank you in advance for any info!

If I remember right, the spinoff was the next in line following the Hawaiian. It offered more precise cornering, and not quite the pull. The frame was the same as the Hawaiian w/out the battens. Originally in fiberglass, but later modified w/graphite. I even had a frame of A2400 carbon rods, it could fly in low winds. Of course thats all relative. In a good breeze say 10-12 plus I used 120' 150-200lb lines. Though more precise than the Hawaiian, it still needed room to work.

@riffclown i do hope you spend more time flying than building. however i have watched with interest (ok i'll admit it sometimes real anticipation) the builds turn out, and i'm never disappointed.

@photomom I know the "hakuhata toru" was a special edition. At the time they came out I was in no position to get one but, I absolutely love the moon dots, think thats what it was... for me, the most beautiful quad I've ever seen. Looking high and low for one, yours is the only one on the list unless I'm missing something.

Glad you're out painting the sky again. I just happen to have one of those old wooden winders. It's a little nicked up, the stretch on wrap is a little worse for wear, and the velcro is beat up too ... But it's yours if you want it. Just send a pm and i'll send to you. Call it a welcome back gift!
