I've been looking for a kite to fill my high wind gap

Does anyone have or know of a chart containing data on different tubes used in quad frames. I'm looking for information regarding strength, inflection/stiffness, length, ID, OD, and weight

Has anyone made a quad bridle for the kaiju. I know Paul lemasters did this to a Prism 3D. And there is the famous delta quad; the TC ultra.

I am ordering a custom 3winds quad but Scott told me it could take months before it comes in and there is a back log of custom kites right now. I believe it is called a dead man's turn when doing a 360 with the kite in buggy. If there is wind you need a lot of speed and big balls. You have to steer away from the kite in a circle to keep the kite powered. Not an easy move to do. Usually you need a very high aspect kite like a x19 or vapor

I have my first official customer. He wants a 5-6 foot wide delta conyne. I am placing the order for materials this week. I can give people a discount on shipping if they desire they want something before I order the materials. I will be placing the order tomorrow evening when I get home from work around 7 pm.

I wasnt planning on doing anything like that. If I were to make a kite for someone it is usually a plan that is readily available to the public or a plan that is provided to me by that someone. I'm not really making an original quad pig since the original is much smaller than the one I would be making and i dont have an exact plan of the original I'm just going by pictures and drawings

Shouldn't change the price. Do you want any of the other spars.

I've been looking at the original quad pig and it looks like it would be very difficult to attach the spars the way they are on a rev. I think the original design with spar pockets would be the best route.

So you want to use the b series LE spars as the cross spars for the pig? What do you mean by dohickie? Do you want me to only make the sail with the hardware or do you want the additional carbon and fiberglass that will be needed because that will change the price

I think I can make the sail. Let me look into it. Do you have any close up pictures. How big do you want it to be

If there is anyone who wants a kite and cant build it on their own I will build it for you. I will just charge for materials used. I just want the scraps left after each project. cost will be cost per yard of fabric per color, cost of printing the plan and making a template if needed, spars and other materials/hardware/notions(tape, webbing, etc.) used, plus the shipping cost the materials. If you cant pick up the kite, there will also be a charge for shipping it to you. the only kites I wont make are soft kites, i.e. foils and display kites. If anyone wants to see my previous work I can post pictures. Edit on 4/30 I can also do applique and reverse applique work for an additional cost. The cost will be based on the size and complexity of the design you want as well as materials. if it is something small i might have some scrap materials i can use but it is not a guarantee as I do not have whole lot of color options with the scraps i currently have.

Currently working on a speed series quad.so far I made templates, cut out the panels. I have seam lines done and I am going to try to see it tonight. Im going to post photos . I wont be able to completely finish the kite this week, I need to order dacron and norland for the leading edge
