That sounds like an awesome plan. Might use tiny microcarbon rods to maintain the pig body shape. Plastic groments might help attach everything together.
High winds today so got the trusty , abused, 20 year old Micron out. It always puts a grin on my face and a reflex work out. It is the fastest kites I have flown. The 2 homemade 8 ft stunters were a bit of a handful . Even flew some 1/2 scale fighters. Good times
Balanced is usually more important. You can try different bridle attachment points to remidy that. A 3 spar frame can also be shaped like an A with the horizontal spar being a little longer on each end. There is no wrong way to do it, just try something out you like. Seen a 3 stick kit with a tee shirt made in minutes that flew great. Just go for it and have fun. My homemade stunt kites don't look very good but fly pretty well.
A 3 spar six sided design would give you plenty of places to attach the unusual shape. It won't need to flex and this design flies good in strong wind usually with a long tail. Probably solid carbon rods would be plenty light because the skin is on the heavy side for a sail. Have fun.
Forgot password to site so just respond to email. Put stand offs on the top spreader on homemade mirage kite to make sail very taut. Also removed exsess slack by folding and sewing the sail with very little slack. Looks crappy but all I care about is functionality. Will send a picture, almost done
Wow you might be the first to fly a pig. Maybe you can sew the skin on to a piece of kite fabric to make it easier to make friable. Also you can attach string to multiple outer parts to then attach to a light weight frame. Clear mylar would look cool to just see the skin. A big fighter kite frame is easy to build and light weight. Let me know how it turns out. Love your imagination of considering this great idea.
Not truly a Sul but have had lots of fun with the Baby Tana. Been rebuilt so many times. Keep it assembled because I fly it so often and so small. Actually my first stunt kite. Caught the bug. I have 2 8 foot home made duals that have limitless bridle adjustments and can add or delete standoffs. Both have 6 standoffs. Even made an adjustable bottom spreader for different aspect ratios. Fun to try all sorts of combinations. One mirage 2 kind of I added 3 inch flaps to the trailing edge for an obnoxiously loud kite.

Wow I don't know internet etiquette so dropped in here or somewhere, over there, you get it. I get kind of sad in the scorching summer months when FLYING is on my mind but not feasible. Will venture out before a thunderstorm at my best friend of 43 years request to GET SMART. I'm that old agent 99
