Great kite. I've spent hundreds of hours practicing mkf on these kites. very robust and durable. Love to win this prize. Fingers crossed...

Just to really blow your mind altogether - 4 kites 1 man (not me - yet) Here's one of the iQuad team doing multiple kiting with revs - I haven't tried it yet As jeepster says, there are lots of others doing multiple kiting. Don't be afraid to give it a go youself - don't worry about the brain freeziing - it will thaw out after a while. There's two good articles in past kitelife magazines, issues 49 and 53, which are worth reading if your interested and a good website to investigate would be http://www.elalmadelpiloto.com.ar/pilots.html

Sorry Duane, didn't realize you hadn't come across multiple kiting before. The first I became aware of it was after stumbling across this video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7762034689114724804# Check out Ray Bethell, world champion multiple kite flyer.

Hi Duane, I presume your question is about the 'razzle dazzle'. Came across it in one of the kiteline magazines in the archives. As far as I remember the pattern was created my Ron Reich for a 3 man team. Have a look at my avator. Basically its just a sequence of horizontal and vertical 'stitches'. I've only come across one example of it on youtube. Flame Kite ballet team 2006 from 2min 55sec to 3min 10sec

. Thanks Tony. I've been flying on 120' lines last couple of years. I've made up a set of 150'. Only used them once and on a new set of Acrobatx kites. Must try them with the cherrybombs shortly I'm thinking of making a 200' set for practicing the razzle dazzle. I thought i've read somewhere that a good lot of kite teams use this length. Should I give it a go or would I be wasting my time?

Thanks Duane, Very quite beach this time of year. In the course of the day about 20 or so walkers. Was joined shortly after shooting that clip by two of my kiting buddies one of whom is also learning multiple kiting - 2 so far - so maybe we might get multiple kiting as a pair yet, which is what this thread started out as.

Hi all, I'm still plugging away at the ould multiple kiting. Another year or two and I should have it nailed!

Hi guys, I've been working away since the beginning of the year on 3 kites. Hoping to develop more precision next year and maybe start working on some routines. . Thank you all for sharing your tips and videos with the rest of us. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all.Regards, Michael Mason.

Hi all, Just managed to get hold of Corey, he now tells me he was waiting for my colour choice to come in. Kite is being posted by USPS express as originally requested, so hopefully I'll have it within 2 weeks. Regards, Mick

Do you think this is OK ? Thanks for your "help". Nicolas Is anybody else waiting for kites from this shop. I placed an order for my first Rev 1.5 SLE nearly 18 weeks ago. After no sign of the kite after 6 - 7 weeks, I started sending emails. I got a reply stating that there was an employee problems and that my kite would be posted out immediately. I've waited another 5-6 weeks and still no sign. I've been sending emails for the last 2 weeks, and all I get when I phone is an answering machine. I've placed other orders with several other shops in the USA using USPS Express delivery. I received tracking comfirmation both from USPS directly, and the retailers. All goods arrived within 5-7 working days. The order I placed with windpowersports was also for USPS Express delivery. I've received no tracking information whatsoever. I've seen a post on the revolution forum by someone who had difficulties with windpowersports with a delivery back around April/May, the reason given was that there was a backlog problem. If this is the situation with my order, then I think I should have been notified of the expected delay and given the option to cancel the order. I am now awaiting a refund. I will let you know how I get on. Regards, Mick

I'm expecting triplets myself next week - Prism Quantums Fire, Ice and Lava. Thanks Kent for the speedy processing of my order. Congratulations and Best Wishes to yourself and your wife. Here's my guess DEC 15th, 0:25 am -
SNAP I never noticed the extra bowing. Hasn't made much difference to me, I still haven't got past a fade yet. I've been concentrating on multiple kite flying with my yukons for the last few months. Only brake out the silverfoxes when the wind gets too low or too high for the yukons. I'm planning to fly the silverfoxes together just to see what they look like. I know I'll have to contend with different speeds and pull. If they work well on 100' lines I'll invest in 2 more silverfox std's next year. If not, I might get 3 acrobatx or maybe french connections. I've just ordered 2 Desire UL's today. I already have one. This kite will fly when the silverfox UL wont.

How about this for getting around those no wind days! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuVMDPzpYiM...ted&search= How it was made: http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=qu7PHfudr9g&...ted&search= Guess I'll have to add 2 audis to my kite bag. Regards, Mick

Congratulations from me too, Charlie. Best of luck with it.

Dave, The ballast weights only fit on the inner tube so are confined a 50mm section of the tail. I've fitted O rings, as per your suggestion, to stop moving within this space. Baloo, If I won a kite like yours I'd be taking about it too. Seen several videos of it. Beautiful looking kite. I'm hoping to holiday in Wales or England next year and take in a kite festival. Can you recommend a good seaside resort and/or festival to fly in. maybe I could meet up with you for a couple of hours for a flying session if your interested. Regards, Mick.

Hi again again Dave. Baloo is spot on. Here's the link to the Sea Devil Wingtip file Sea Devil Wingtip Tensioning. When I see nails as perfect as these ( I presume their Lams) I always regret biting mine when I was young!. Thanks Baloo. Regards, Mick.

Hi again, Dave. I'm having trouble inserting images directly into reply so I've put them into my gallery under album silver fox sfwt1.jpg to sfwt9.jpg. Check my profile/gallery. Regards, Mick.

Dave, When glueing up make sure the length of the spine ends up as 91.cm, excluding top end cap. Regards Mick.

Hello Dave, belated happy birthday by the way. I've been meaning to replay to your questions for the last week so here goes. The std comes with 2 ballast and 1 tail weight. The tail weight is always used, the ballast weights are added depending on wind conditions and your own preferences (from what I can gather). I just beginning to perform tricks myself so I cant say exactly how there used. I've left mine on, as this is the way the kite came. It appears that the inner tube and smaller tube you mention should be glued in place. Mine has come loose also, but on the vented i have they are still glued in place. the smaller tube seems to be a better fitting on the short inner tube then that of the inner tube into the main spine. I guess the intention here was to use the small tube as a stop to prevent the inner tube from slipping up into the main outer spine. The glue has failed in my case allowing the inner tube to move resulting in the tail weight dropping out after a crash. Luckey enough I checked the kite and found the weight. I've since used electrical insulating tape the tape the tail weight in position for the time being. The glue has also broken down on several other components. Theres some complaints on sites about the nocks being loose on purchase. On my ul kite the lue on the inner tube on the lower wing spreader failed and slipped totally inside the spreader while in the kite bag. I eventually got it out after using 3mm bar from another kite. I've just reguled these parts using an 2 part epoxy resin. (Araldite) I couldn't make out the wing tip tension lines either and just tied them any way that seemed to work. I came across a video someone had done on some site (it could be this one.) Unfortunately, I did not book mark it. It was for some other kite with three holes in the wing tip rather than two that the silver fox has. I now tie off using a similar approach and I will post a few pics shorthly in another reply as I'm not sure if the pic size exceeds this sites limits. Regards, Mick

Love to get my hands on a few of these for mkf. Sorry Antman, although your luck is bound to change shortly in regards to these draws, I hope I'll get luckey before you and snatch this one .

Congratulations, Timothy. Let us know how the kite compares with your Silver Fox. Regards, Mick

Thanks Gustavo, great videos. I'm dizzy from watching all that running around backwards. No wonder you're all so thin. Maybe indoor flying is the way to go for me to loose weight. Everything else has failed so far. Pity yourself and John didn't wear the same leotards as the two girls. That would have been some display! PS. Happy Birthday, John. Regards, Mick

[ ] Great video, looking forward to seeing the 3 kite video when its done. Thanks for the articles on MKF. Its great to have tips from an expert when trying out new discipline. I broke one of your rules though and had a go at flying 3 simultaneously. What a challenge, what a buzz. I managed to keep flying for about 2 minutes before crashing the kite off the hips. Can't swing my hips as fast as you can yet. I'll have to get back into the taebo routines shortly! As per your suggestion I'm going to stick to 2 kites for the rest of this year. Thanks again, Mick

I enjoyed watching all these animations a while back, there a great help in understanding the movement of the kite during a trick. There are more animations at www.eolo.com which also shows hand positions during the tricks. Prism kites have added more animations to their site at www.prism.com under Pilot's lounge. They have also added video clips from their freestyle pilot dvd, but with the sound muted. This is a good idea, at least you can see what the dvd is like before you purchase it. I have the freestyle pilot, trick or treat, and flightschool dvds plus I've downloaded all of Randy Greenway's tutorials. I found them all very good and I watch them on a regular basis.
