How to fix this?

I was checking out something on my Nexus & I noticed the piece of velcro on the on the front part of the kite that goes behind the upper spreader was coming off at the edges.

Should I use double sided tape or glue to help hold it down? And is there a specific brand/style/viscosity of both that you prefer? I found about a thousand different varieties of CA glue on Amazon.

CA Glue does not flex and is generally not good for non rigid surfaces.. 
Does something attach to this Velcro or is it just a protective wear spot?

It's just a protective wear spot. The upper spreader rests on top of it where it intersects with the spine.

The folks at Prism probably have a good remedy. I believe they are stuck on with a simple adhesive backing, but a quick call during work hours could tell you how they are attached and how to address it.
