SKITCH Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 Heading back from Canada after spending the weekend in White Rock for the Kite Festival there. Great job by those that organized it!!! Saw some great looking kites by some of the Northwest's top designers.... Also saw Egan landing his Rev on just about everyone's head that walked by. He was flying the "eyes" today and entertained the hell out of the crowd. What that man can do with a Rev is amazing. Nice guy too. Talked to him for a little bit as he was leaving. He even put the kite down on top of the hat of one of the local police officers...... Didn't see that one but a couple people told me about it....it was pretty funny and the cop played along....after he figured out what was hitting him on the head!! Great job Egan!!!! Can't wait to see you all in Portland next week. (if I actually get to go) P Quote

I was just taking some Meteor picks when I looked accross and saw the felony. Next thing I knew he was walking over to the purp. Funny as hell! Bazzer Quote
Mike Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Perhaps, when quad fliers are around, we should post these signs along the pedestrian walkways. Quote
Penny Lingenfelter Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 To cute. Where can we get one of those signs? BB Penny Quote
Mike Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 I guess you could just print it out and glue it to some card stock. I you really want to print it out, I should make it in black and white and then you can print it onto yellow paper. Save you a lot of yellow ink! Quote
Mike Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 I don't know if we really want to print these signs, it might scare the public too much. I actually have enough control where the public isn't in any danger. In fact I like to interact with the public and my kites. (I landed on a cop at a festival in Wisconsin once, but we had talked earlier and he was a good sport) However, I was having too much fun with these signs. Here's a couple more: If you want to print some for your wall, suitable for framing, PDF versions available here: http://kitemike.googlepages.com/caution-revfliers.pdf http://kitemike.googlepages.com/caution-revfliers2.pdf http://kitemike.googlepages.com/caution-revfliers3.pdf Print on yellow card stock and tell Adobe Acrobat to "Reduce to Printer Margins" in the print options.
