Penny Lingenfelter Posted August 17, 2007 Report Posted August 17, 2007 that might be more but well worth it for the b kite as with the times i had flying one the extra money is worth it People who have the B-series love it. If I designed a "Penny Proof" kite...one that would take my abuse and all the beginners out there who try it.. It would have a 3 & 4 wrap set. 3 wraps are pretty study. 2 wraps make fantastic light Rev flying. Just not the first spar a new flyer should start with without realizing it's not meant to take the abuse that a 4 wrap can take. John's kite looks good and sturdy. We should see an army of them out there. People are loving it. BB Penny ~ wishing she had a better vocabulary. Great kite John! Quote
Toyguy Posted August 17, 2007 Author Report Posted August 17, 2007 Thanks to all who replied, both here and in PMs. I have a 2007 SLE package on the way, at a cost of $195. I will order the 3-wrap LE separately once I see how the SLE itself flies and I have a little air-time on the kite. Let the waiting begin... Quote
John Barresi Posted August 17, 2007 Report Posted August 17, 2007 Toyguy, I can't stress enough... When you receive the SLE, after trying it as is, also try extending the top lines by about 4" or so, and let us know what you think. Quote
