AKA's KITING Mag.

Hi friends,

I just got my AKA "KITING" Magazine and glanced over it and the first thing I noticed is that there is a nice balance of "Rev." kites in it! I don't know what the story is, but someone seems to have had a change of heart, which is really pleasent to see. I think it was last year that the AKA had it's annual poster contest for Kite Month and the winning poster had a picture of every kite you could imagine, except for the Rev. kite on it, (which doesn't reflect what's going on out there). I questioned them on that, but didn't get a worthy response. But, it's good to see that things are becoming more bounced kite wise.

Their feature article is "F=1/2PV"AC Why Kites Fly (and why they don't)" heehee! Looks like a great article....very detailed!!

If anyone is new...check out the AKA (American Kitefliers Association)...especially if you plan on spending some money on new kites, because most kite shops give a 10% discount to AKA members. I save a lot more money then the membership fee and got the magazine too. (Buy a couple Nirvanas and a few Revs. and that's a lot of money saved!)

Hey Duane...

I hate to say it, but Revs aren't the best looking kites in the sky. Except for the Masterpiece series and other customs, I can understand why there weren't many pictured in the past. They're amazing kites in what they can do, but I would think in 20+ years of production, they could figure out how to make them more visually interesting...

WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!?! Now!! I have a riot on my hands here...a regular "Lynch Mob"!!

"Elvira" (my most beautiful Black Rainbow mid-vent) was the first to read your comment and then she was screaming what you said to "Lucy"--(in the sky with diamonds, a beautiful Std. Pro Fade) and "Lucy" told "Windy" (a most beautiful full-vent Pro Fade) and then "Windy" told "Goldilocks" (a beautiful Std. B-Series in "Steelers" colors)....AND...."Elvira" is now trying to look up your location on the "members" & "Kite Map" thing, (but she has difficulty pushing the keys when she is mad!)

You better take that back..."Quickly! If you don't...I can not be held responsible for whatever happens. (Elvira is really sexy...but, she, and the other girls, can really be mean at times!)

AND!!! "Elvira" told me to tell you that in the AKA "KITING" Magazine...on the inside of the back cover...there is a picture of a REV. KITE...and it says, "Alden Miller's cherry blossom quadline took top honors at the Blosson Kite Festival in Washington, DC on April 10."...(and then "Elvira" flipped her wing at the computer...that's her way of giving you the finger! heehee!).

I don't worry about their talking to me.....BUT, it's this screaming and yelling that upsets me...and I don't know where "Elvira" (Mistress of the Dark) picked up such words!!

As "Jeepster said, "Welcome to the "Rabbit Hole"!" heehee!!

OK "photomom"...(so you don't worry)...I don't really hear them talking, I only imagine what they would be saying! But then, I'm legally deaf and I hear them as well as I hear people....who, I might add, I just sort of imagine what they are saying too! The only difference is that what the kites say is more predictable and their more fun being around! heehee!!
