EBGB Posted February 27, 2005 Report Posted February 27, 2005 Hey John and Penny! I'm just finishing up the DVD from this year's Windless Kite Festival. As you know, the proceeds from the sale of the DVD go to the Kite Museum. In the past, I've hestitate to release the video from the DVD for fear of cutting into their sales. This year, I'd like to put a "teaser" out there, so people can have a taste. I'm thinking Penny's closing demo would be a good choice. It's the "Star Spangled Banner" and she did a particularly nice job. So John, if you'd like to host it, and Penny agrees, I'll render it to a format suitable for the web. Let me know if you're willing, and if you have a format in mind so that it doesn't require re-compressing. Take care, Take flight! Don Quote

So if you heard that there were "technical difficulties", they've been taken care of. The hair on the back of my neck stands up every time I watch that one. (I just don't want to give away the farm) Tell you what. I'll post the demo video temporarily on my web site. Penny can check it out and give final approval before it goes public. It's a smallish video - about 5 megs. WMV (Windows Media 9) John - no need to re-post this. I'll leave it where it is until I run out of space (again). If you want to though, let me know, and I'll render a copy in the 10 meg area. Or maybe I should just do Penny's comp video. We had two cameras running, and Penny even had her clothes on. Quote

They are going to be selling it for $15. $5 for the copying, 10 to support a young lady earning her way to Austrailia? for a shot put cometition.. Now... I probably have the info wrong... like New Zealand for dart throwing, but the young lady has been working hard to make the trip and was a big help to us at the Up Your River Festival.
