bbailey49
All, JB is in China doing a kite thing. Unfortunately, something about the Internet over there and the set up of the KiteLife website prevents him from being able to post. He asked me to let everyone know that he will be back after the 30th.
RobB
Kitelife is blocked by many Firewalls that have content filters, I've noticed. There's something about the category of the site, or something in the header. The funny thing is, the Rev forum many times will make it through the firewall when Kitelife won't. From what I've heard, China applies a content filter to the entire country. I'm sure John doesn't have much time to web surf, but he might be able to get the Kitelife site through a 3rd party proxy. I've seen users at my customers sites get around the content filter that way.
122333
TOR browser could be a possible solution. Blue Coat and BrightCloud categorize the forum and homepage with the same value ('Sports/Recreation' and 'Entertainment & Arts' respectively)
John Barresi
I'm baaaack... In Seattle now, awaiting my flight home. Our server has China blocked entirely... Could view using a VPN, but it stripped out the actual text entry boxes for replies. Anyway, thanks Barton for minding the store while I was gone.
