Mike Klaiber Posted June 21, 2017 Report Posted June 21, 2017 Any recommendations on a glider for inland flying? Looks like the Pulz is not available. Thanks! Quote
SparkieRob Posted June 21, 2017 Report Posted June 21, 2017 Mega Plutz is freaking awesome. I liken it to the battle ships of the Imperial Army in Star Wars...I've spent a fair bit of time on a Prism Zero G which is very similar to the Plutz. Can fly in zero to about 16 kays. Good fun. Bill Clay Posted June 21, 2017 Report Posted June 21, 2017 I'm looking into a Doug Stout Bird of Prey or Viper. Haven't pulled the trigger yet tho. I have his contact info if you would like it or you can find him on FB. [emoji1303]Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app 1 Quote
Wayne Dowler Posted June 21, 2017 Report Posted June 21, 2017 For those that like a more "active" glider - the Urban Ninja is pretty hot. Open plans to make them yourself or if you know someone that will make one. Kind of a mix of fighter and glider, you have to fly it all the time. No "set and forget" kite ! 2 Quote
John Barresi Posted June 25, 2017 Report Posted June 25, 2017 I'll second the Urban Ninja, I was lucky enough to get a handmade one from my friend Mark Giadone and I love it. 1 Quote
Mike Klaiber Posted July 15, 2017 Author Report Posted July 15, 2017 Thanks, wound up choosing Douglas Stout Viper (forward wing) so will see in a month or so how she flies. 2 Quote
