The Kite Shoppe Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 LINCOLN CITY INDOOR KITE FESTIVAL SCHEDULE March 24-26, 2006 Taft High School Time Event Location Friday, March 24: 4-7:30 pm Practice/Free Flying/Teaching Both Gyms 7:30-9 pm Indoor Kite Flying Performances Main Gym Saturday, March 25: 9:00-10:30 am Practice/Free Flying/Teaching Both Gyms 10:30-12 Indoor Kite Flying Demonstrations Main Gym 12-1:30 pm Practice/Free Flying/Teaching Both Gyms 1:30-2:00 Practice/Set Up for Competition Main Gym 2-3:30 pm AKA Indoor Kite Flying Competition Main Gym (Trophies will be awarded for top 3 in each division.) 3:30-4 pm Practice/Free flying/Teaching Both Gyms 4-5 pm Indoor Kite Flying Demonstrations Main Gym 6:30-8 pm Indoor Kite Flying Performances Main Gym Sunday, March 26: 9-10 am Practice/Free Flying/Teaching Both Gyms 10-11:30 am Indoor Kite Flying Demonstrations Main Gym 11:30-12:30 Practice/Free Flying/Teaching Both Gyms 12:45 pm Raffle Drawing Main Gym 1-2 pm Indoor Kite Flying Performances Main Gym All invited fliers will be scheduled to perform during the “Indoor Kite Flying Demonstraion and Performance” times. This includes Lee and Debbie Park, Penny Lingenfelter, Lam Hoac, Wayne Turner, Scott Weider, Egan Davis, John Barresi, and Jeff Reed. Others may perform as well at the discretion of the event organizers. SCHEDULE AND PERFORMERS MAY BE CHANGED IF CONDITIONS REQUIRE. Quote

Penny Lingenfelter Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 Hey, Kurt Anderson just called me from Portland and said he was surprise to see a Rev. on a commercial for the Lincoln City Indoor and that I was all over it. lol I asked him what color hair I had, but he forgot to look, he was so surprised. John, Theresa, and Amy, have you two spotted this commercial yet? Wonder what's on it and if Lincoln City will auction a copy at the raffle? How fun. BB Penny Quote

Guess we'll have to watch a little TV sometime! Ron called the other day and said the commercial was starting to run this week. It's on KOIN. In the Portland area, that's Channel 6, a CBS channel.
