John Barresi Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 Hello all, figured I'd let everyone know... I'll be in France from April 6th through the 17th judging at the World Sport Kite Championships (WSKC), and going directly from France to China on April 17th to be Chief Judge at the Weifang International Kite Festival, finally returning home on April 26th or 27th... This will put me out of the USA for quite some time during which I will not be able to answer my phone. However, email access should be consistently available, shouldn't be offline for more than 1-2 days at a time. You can look forward to daily updates from the WSKC here... http://www.kitelife.com/archives/wskc06/ And, a full report and photos from Weifang in issue 48 (due out June 1st - my birthday). While most of my expenses are covered for these trips, it will still be fairly costly, so donations and subscriptions are always welcome. Thanks for being here! Quote
monkey Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 Is it time to go yet? No? DAMN. I can't wait, I'm soooo psyched for this trip! (well, the france part, I'm not able to head onto China this time around) Quote
Penny Lingenfelter Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 You two have fun and stay out of trouble. Darn.. are you sure I shouldn't go as a chaperone? BB Penny Quote
John Barresi Posted April 26, 2006 Author Report Posted April 26, 2006 I'm back in Paris, a couple hours before my flight home via Chicago... Boy, can't wait to get home and sleep for a day or two straight. Spent the night here last night after coming back from Beijing, the De Gaulle airport is not very comfortable, and they don't let you past security (check in) until your flight is a few hours away. Lots of email to catch up on, bills, and festivals pretty much every weekend for the next couple of months... Golly, not a moment to breathe! Talk to ya'll when I catch up on some sleep. Quote
The Kite Shoppe Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 Good to hear you're getting close to home! Thanks for the update! Have a safe trip, and we'll see you soon! Sleep? Can't you do that on the plane? Sure have missed you! T Quote
