Deke Haid Posted January 3, 2018 Report Share Posted January 3, 2018 Sunday morning I left the Chicago area and I set out for adventure. Detroit. Huge lake-effect snowstorm on I-94 from Indiana/Michigan border to Kalamazoo. Arrived safely and spent the evening with great people. Monday morning we drove to Maumee Bay State Park in Oregon Ohio and met up with several kiters in the area for a New Year Day fly. Thanks Brett for inviting me out. Thanks to Team Sky FX for having me fill in as tail-gunner for a few hours of team maneuvers. Black Swamp Air Force, it was a pleasure to meet you if even briefly.
