sandman Posted July 4, 2006 Author Report Posted July 4, 2006 Yeah... the trailing wing drags a bit. I'm still working on a good horizontal slide with the 1.5. Oddly enough, the Blast is what gave me some clues about flying that maneuver. The Blast responds so well, that I can make the trailing wing rise or fall at will. Still working on the technique with the 1.5. It's more sluggish in this regard than the Blast, I think. Quote
John Barresi Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 Cool, well you're thinking it out very well... Keep at it. Quote
monkey Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 Yeah... the trailing wing drags a bit. I'm still working on a good horizontal slide with the 1.5. Oddly enough, the Blast is what gave me some clues about flying that maneuver. Waaaaaay back when the Supersonic (the first of the SLE kites) came out, learning to fly that was what really finally made reverse flight "click" for me mentally, it was easier to do on that line of kite. Those skills transferred over nicely when I was flying a 1.5 and I found reverse much easier after that. so, ya, you're on the right road. Quote
ant man Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 Yes, The Kite Shoppe will help you find what your looking for and do a great job explaining our kite jargon. BB Penny i have both 1 5 sul and 1 5 sle but the 2 wrap would be the way to go for putting that kite on a diet. for zero wind my indoor is king Quote
