  2. We're pleased to yet again announce the next prize being given away to our most appreciated supporters, the Kitelife Subscribers... For roughly 10 cents per day they play a major role in keeping KL growing in every way. B-Series STD, roughly a $350 value and no longer manufactured by Revolution as of 2017! This package includes a STANDARD sail, 2 and 3 wrap frames, adjustable handles, DVD and kite sleeve! NOTE: Primary color of the kite in this drawing is RED and BLACK on a STANDARD SAIL... This is regular (factory) model, it is not a Pro by Bazzer, but will still provide excellent flying for whoever wins this. You can sign up here. Odds of winning for this prize is currently 1/373, and will be drawn on Nov 15th, 2018! Our thanks, and the very best to you... Let the drooling begin!

  4. A few photos from Today's flight test.. I need to tweak the bridle a bit but pretty happy with the balance and weighting of this sail.

  5. Always enjoy topics about wind range of specific kites. Also glad to see the discussion of alternate tube choices for Hadziki wings. There was a time that I feared appropriate tubes would no longer be available & I did not think I could make satisfactory ones on my own. But now more choices are obviously available & the originals are less important. When I got involved in quad sport wings I was impressed that you could change frames so easily. That is not so easily done on dualies. But in reality I am like Wayne, I change kites as the wind conditions warrant. That is a luxury I did not have when starting out with only a few kites. Times have changed in that aspect as well. Just some thoughts from out here in the sticks, SHBKF

  6. Alright folks, how about an overdue drum roll... Sorry for the 3 day tardy, we just got back from 4 weeks abroad (1 of those weeks being a last minute change), playing catch up on work now while we get over our jet lag and re situate ourselves at home. Ok, this sweet package is going out to one of our longstanding subscribers (#97), a huge congratulations to @GrantL!! 🙏 Thanks to all for their support, we'll work to get a new prize up ASAP. 😎

  8. Took yesterday off from kite making. Completed the kite today.. There is one spot I need to tweak sail tension a small bit but it should be quite fixable. This is my first attempt at hidden knots on the verticals,. Will flight test first though.. Will have to wait until the weather clears a bit.

  9. Gutermann thread gets highly recommended by many kite makers.. I use Gutermann Toldi-Lock a lot.. Regardless of brand, use 100% polyester thread.. Cotton content in the thread will encourage breakage and dry rot over time and exposure to the elements..
