  3. The next Karma drawing is from @Mike Klaiber, up for grabs is a Red Prism 4D Ultralight Dual Line Stunt Kite. This kite is only slightly used with maybe 20 total minutes of flight time. Example in flight: The RNG will select the winner on October 3rd at 5 PM EST. Enter with "I'm in" in a reply below, per the usual procedure. Good luck everyone! == Standard Karma Note from the Moderators This is a Karma Drawing. The winner of the drawing is expected to pay it forward by offering their own prize for the next drawing. Please do not enter unless you are willing to offer your own prize, preferably not the prize you just won. Drawings should be open for entry approximately 2 weeks, and the next drawing should be posted as soon as possible to keep the Karma rolling. These drawings are run by and for KiteLife forum members and DO NOT require a paid subscription to enter. The moderating team only ensures that your drawing post contains all of the pertinent information (drawing date/time, adequate prize description, drawing rules) before approval. If you are a KiteLife forum member from the US or Canada, you are eligible to enter. You do not have to be a paid subscriber. Members from Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii are welcome to enter the Karma drawings provided they are willing to pay half of the Karma prize shipping cost. The method and timing of the payment will be agreed upon between the two parties after the drawing for a particular prize. Here is the link to the original Rules and Guidelines thread: http://kitelife.com/forum/topic/5426-rules-and-guidelines-please-read/ The mechanism for the drawing itself is entirely at the discretion of the person offering the prize. In the past, entry number has been determined either by order of entry or by the post number in which the member declares entry into the drawing. The drawings have been performed using the RNG method (http://www.random.org/sequences/) or by choosing the numbers out of a hat (I believe an adorable daughter did the picking in that scenario). The only requirement is that the method of selection is clearly spelled out in the drawing post. Entry into the drawings is done by STARTING a post in the drawing thread with the entry phrase chosen by the drawing host (Traditionally "I'm in", but "I LIKE" has been used as well). In order to remove any confusion or misinterpretation, only entries with posts that START with the phrase will be considered. As with all other KiteLife drawings, bantering is encouraged. This is for fun after all.

Southern hospitality with fried chicken and biscuits. Cold stone ice cream. Appetite wet yet? Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app

  10. Did I learn anything? Holy s#*$, I can't process it all yet. Amazing mentor and teacher. Timeless patience and fun to be around. Yes, the man can fly with incredible skill. Beach, although a hike, was deep white sand for thousands of feet, HUGE does not do it justice. I will go back to fly and take wife to see the amazing part of NC we have not seen before. Winds for days that stuck the kite in the air like I have never experienced! Full vent on Sunday! Skies and water were amazing. Check out the clinic post for some pics. If ever, do it! Talk of spring clinic at same location. I will do it again and again. Lots of kite people and fun too! Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  11. Made it. See y'all about 9. Dinner sounds good to me. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  12. I would be in for a bulk buy if that works out. I thought of taking a eighty and making two. I also have two of the new carbon handles I need help with getting right with TK's leaders. I think I just cut and tie new knots but will see what JB says. Lots to learn and can't wait. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  13. What a great idea! Thanks Josh and congratulations! Thanks Theresa! I'm in and looking forward to a bubbleishis time. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  14. Finally got in some figure eights, 360's, braking, hovers and other stuff today. Lots of miles walked resetting for liftoff, even with kick stands. Flopping and folding wings from not flying in wind greater than a puff for a long time. No crashes. Sore but smiling, frustrated and happy. Great day! Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  15. Waiting on storm winds in SW Va but just getting rain... We need it BAD so I will have to be happy puddle jumping for fun! I have been working daily prepping for clinic but reality is the kite goes up and floats back down. I am tuning and tweaking but still no wind. Due to humidity it also requires three changes of clothes per day! Eight days till lift off, can't wait, jittery with an-tis- I-pa- tion! Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  16. Hmmm. Never crash again? Worth the entry fee just to save on spars! [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  17. LOL, well at least we all have the same instructional needs for JB. Rev's gonna feel like a mosquito buzzing around with beach breezes! Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  18. Hi all, welcome AC. I have a Zen. 1.5, mid vent and full vent I am bringing folks can use as needed. I hope to try all out at some time. Looking forward to the clinic! Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  19. Anyone getting in on Friday and want to fly? I am hoping to get in early afternoon and want to get used to some wind. Been hot and humid in Va with sparrow farts (sorry but a perfect description) as a breeze occasionally, suspending the sail for a moment before reverse gliding and recovering all the backward momentum. Hard to pull off anything else unless you run for it. Can not wait till the kite pulls on me a little for a change! Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  20. I'm in for sure! Always use spars and can wear the shirt to the clinic[emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
