The typed I'm guessing , I found the Beaufort scale online, thank you! I know it's subjective but here winds change so fast , direction and speed , I try to grab a kite out of the bag that's close to the high end of the winds predicted range, thanks [emoji41]🤙🏻 Sent from my iPad using KiteLife mobile app -

Couldn't read the charts.....but I understand....so much to learn so little time....currently I have three wrap ,two wrap, and green race rods.... I like the flex in the greens , and they seem to be right between the 2-3 wrap in "feel" I usually like winds 15 mph or less and with the standard sail b-series I can keep her in the air in very little wind , less than 2-3 mph with a bunch of " English" however I am curious....with my full vent just how much it can handle before kablooey.... I've heard of flyers out past thirty mph and frankly I'm headed inside at thirty. Just keep realizing the more I learn there is so much more to learn.......thanks .....Joe [emoji41]🤙🏻 Sent from my iPad using KiteLife mobile app

How about a general wind speed chart and which Rev should be used and with which spars? I for one get little tidbits here and there and am in a quest to find it all on one page..... So many choices ....2-3-4 wrap.... green rods....diamonds....custom.... Full sail ,vent ,mid vent, xtra vent......indoor....sle.... Just curious. I know it depends on the flier, but a general idea of what to pull from opk bag or mine Thanks and I'm still going to have fun......[emoji41]🤙🏻 Sent from my iPad using KiteLife mobile app

Why is it when a new ,or new to you kite or accessories arrives the weather knows and dishes out exactly the opposite of what you "need"? I just got shameless sticks, sissy, magic and gusts over forty almost every day, or thunder and lightning ......... Cmon Mother Nature ! I need to fly [emoji41]🤙🏻 Sent from my iPad using KiteLife mobile app

Will try moving down to the handles, this is how I was shown. Thwarted by soccer players yesterday..... Sent from my iPad using KiteLife mobile app

Maybe some can relate it's much like cutting brakes, or a skid steer vehicle And you're right, I found I needed a little more brake input for a stall or hover. With that adjusting the bottom leader in seems to help precision. Is that the general rule? Sent from my iPad using KiteLife mobile app

And even better news to me, just the actions and movement have made my problem hand much better. Now I don't drop my handle near as often. Big ,huge for me. I do think that the padding might help more if moved almost to the top. But till then i flew for over an hour yesterday with the knots all the way out Sent from my iPad using KiteLife mobile app

Thanks Wayne, most of my time right now is solo. So I just play with different settings and different places. Sort of testing the limits , so to say. I have noticed the control with lines set on the furthest knot out. Hovers and side slipping and even reverse is much easier. And I think you said it would seem counterintuitive. So far both the mid vent and full sail like those settings. Sent from my iPad using KiteLife mobile app

........speaking of knots... while playing with settings of knots has anyone else noticed that as you get closer to the handle the kite goes faster? Considering with all else being close to the same Sent from my iPad using KiteLife mobile app
