You'll love it. Make sure you start off in lighter winds trust me! And use the kite killers, it will be frustrating at first but after you get a basic grasp how it handles you'll never want to stop! I fly a 4m Peter Lynn hornet, it's been an amazing kite! It's a quad so if you haven't flown a 4 line it will get some getting used to but is so much more maneuverable than a 3 line. Look into it has all the power you want to do what your talking about down the road. As was stated above being comfortable with just flying will be your first agenda IMO. Good luck! I have the synapse 200 and love it was my first foil. Still fly all the time. The 140 should be a great all around kite and depending on the wind and your kids it will give some pull so be aware of that! Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app

I'm in central Indiana. We haven't even had a wind to get a hot launch I wish we did! Lol just waiting for a good constant 10mph or so just seems Mother Nature knows I'm waiting so.
