Check out Ocean Shores Kites in Washington if this is your first Quad. Andy has 2 versions of Freilein at different price points but all are under what a new Rev will cost. They are better constructed than Revs and you can talk to Andy about what kind of wind you will most likely fly in. He can get you the best deal on the correct venting (or none at all) for your situation. I love being able to talk to a person that truly has the customer's best interest.

I got a new Hydra from ITW and the LE is tensioned by a line with a loop at both ends. I tension the LE as described in instructions, but the knot keeps slipping thru the knock during flight and the end cap pops off during flight. What secret fix have you used to keep the tension line from loosing tension during flight? I thought about heat shrink tubing below the knock. (I don't un- tension the LE for storage) Has anyone got a better idea?

There are no loops of ribbon on end of sail to loop line through. There are 2 holes in the sail parallel to the leading edge.

In both pics, the end with loop seems to go through the first hole from the picture side. What does it attach to on the reverse side? Top pic - lines from knot run into the first hole, and got where on the back side? Bottom pic - lines from knot run into the first hole, and where on the back side? Top pic - line from loop seems to go up to nook and then to hole #2. Where does it go from there?

Just picked up 2 Flying Wings Souls and I for the life of me can not figure out how to tension the wings. There are 2 holes in kite, inline with leading edge. Tension line has a overhand loop tied into it with a 8 inch tail. Directions that came with kite are not understandable at best. Pictures are really small and directions are as follow: Insert the wing tip tension line through the loop near to the webbing, pull tension line all the way down and through the groove of the nock at the tip. Cover with soft endcap. WHAT!! Can you help me?

I have several 7 ft G-Kite Ghost Deltas and would like to fly them from one ground anchor. That requires stacking them. How does one attach the second kite to the first? I see the loop on the back of each kite, but is that the proper place to attach the bridle line from the first? Help!!
