im in the same boat. i want a pair of 90# 120' but its only for groups that i will barely be using. when its me it will be 80' and mostly 30' my friend said he will help me make a sent of 30'ers...

so i have a giant delts its a tonys delta. and its a big beauty. i want to fly it by the next big festival. it has no spars and i need spars i also need a team with experience to put it up in the air. i have put a 12 footer up many times and a big box delta that pulled real hard. i have even done a stack of 5 avengers. but this beast is next level stuff. i was going to tie it down to my van to anchor it. i keep asking for help but nobody seams to want to take on the project. its to big for most everyone to want to deal with. but im not the first to fly this monster. 1. where do i get spars! 2 who wants to help fly it. (ill be video taping it for a kite film project im doing. 3. please help! ok so the picture is of the kits folded in half. so its only 15x15 in the picture but when it opens its 30'x15' this isnt a toy its dangerous and should only be put up by professionals. this is my call to professionals to help me. i have asked everywhere and i dont know where else to ask.

as you can kinda see this is one way they did it and it worked super well. its the newest way they did it. but i was going to just poke a hole to expose the middle side spar. then just use modern style standoffs... i have a few extras to play with.

so i flew my flexifoils yesterday and i used the way they showed in the video. the extra half hitches are the best tip of the day!! the flexi flew great!! just like them better then the new ones. zippy lil guys! the lighter spar was the only one that worked the heavy bar didnt fly not enough wind. i forgot how the kite just sits there until it fills with air sits there until the slightest tension then starts to float a little pull and poof its off!!

i always wrapped the ring around the spar and the line onto the ring. ill try the way the video recommends tomorrow. might do a stack of 2.

so i want to try and respar one of my kites. i have seen 2 different standoff designs for this kite. one with a spar running down to the inner side spar and one with a thin bending spar from the wing to the center spar pushing the fabric into an arch. i was thinking about cutting a spall hole in the fabric and putting a whisker right in the middle. any suggestions? if it works well with one i might do a handful for a large group fly for a film im working on.

i want some lights. i hang flashlights from my deltas all the time. i was wondering how to get lights on my stunt kites.
