This may turn out to be a 50/50.

Up in the air this time around is an HQ Delta Hawk. I really like this kite, but it’s 8-46 MPH WINDow doesn’t really fit in around here. The times that I’ve enjoyed it the most were in the wake of passing hurricanes while wearing full rain gear. I can probably find a lineset for the lower end of the range, but you are on your own if you want to push its limits. Here is a link to the Rainbow version. The 3 stack is really nice from about 6-12mph. I don’t think a 4 stack would be as crazy as you think. Oh wait, you said 18mph. No.

I have a room!!! Staying at Traveler’s Inn in Elizabeth City on Friday night so I can get to Jockey’s Ridge earlier. I’ll still have to buzz out Saturday afternoon to get home as early as I can.
