Just finished up at the 2016 AKAGN, had an AMAZING week with a totally reinvigorated organization of kitefliers from all over the country and some of the world. Lots of posts on Facebook using the #AKAGN hashtag, so it's pretty easy to find live updates, awards video, photos and other footage from the event - many should work even without a Facebook login. Feel free to post the URL of some of your favorite AKAGN images for eye candy here on the forum. Next year we'll be in Ocean City MD, hope to some of you there.

Once again this year...I was fortunate enough to spend several days in Treasure Island for the 18th Annual Sport Kite Competition. This was my third year in attendance. Nice weather saw fair winds and large crowds.Sunday brought some of the largest spectator crowds I have seen. Unfortunately,I was flying line all day and unable to KAP.....never thought I would say that was an issue Saturday however, I did manage to put the camera up and do a 1500 picture run throughout the area and competition/demo field. At just 13 years of age, Tristan is already dominating indoor competition in the Northwest USA and this particular routine is no exception... Flying an iTrix, he demonstrates skill and talent beyond his years with solid choreography and an amazing display of indoor tricks including multiple Cometes. -
