DA12K
Hey Folks, I recently purchased a Vented Rev B and am having difficulty getting good flying time with it due to lighter winds. I was contemplating on purchasing some Race Rods, but am also thinking about just getting a Non-Vented Rev B. What would be the better choice??? FYI I live in Las Vegas..... Thanks for your help , Sean
Penny Lingenfelter
I can't answer this, because I don't own a B kite.... yet... yet is my favorite word. John will be by. jay
I'm still learning with my Rev's but the vented B is a lot smoother than the non vented, I am getting race rods for it as soon as I can afford them. I have both the B's and the Vented is always first out just in case I can get some wind in it.
John Barresi
Vented with Race Rods in 6-12 mph is darned near god's gift to kite flying... Totally precise, SO easy to fly. My #1 choice for precision, when wind allows. FYI, the Race Spars should lower your minimum wind range on the vented to about 4-5 mph, on up to about 12-14 mph, depending on your skill. DA12K
Thanks for the input everyone!!! I broke down and got a standard Rev B. I was talking with ken at A wind of Change and decided that having both Kites would be a good thing... I Just got back from flying the B vented in some stiff wind and what a blast I had. I got the concept of hovering a spin maneuvers but darn invert hovering is testing my patience.
