Reef Runner Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 I didn't know the full vent came with a 3 & 4 wrap?!?! I thought everything came with 2 & 3 wraps. I ordered my full vent with "racing rods". Not to fret, Duane. Honest mistake on your part. If I recollect, correctly, your full-vent is a B-Pro. The B-Pro doesn't come with two frame sets, I don't think. I believe that you get to specify what frame you want, but only one set comes with the kite. So you see, if you've never bought a regular B-series full-vent, you wouldn't know about the 3-wrap & 4-wrap, so you are definitely forgiven. John Barresi Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 To quote JB............."No question is stupid" *snip* ps..........if it makes you feel any better, I think I read somewhere, where Mr "B" himself, may have made, the "vertical spar" mistake, way way back in the beginning of his Rev career. If I am wrong, I am sure he will correct me. That may not be right, but I thought I read that somewhere. Hey John, how about clear that up for us. I sure don't want to be starting any rumors ! Right on both counts... No such thing as a stupid question, and yes, I too made the vertical spar mistake when i got my first Rev. It makes such a big difference that I actually sold it in disgust, only to discover my mistake a few months later. Just imagine if I'd never discovered my error! Where would I be now?? LOL We didn't have video tutorials, discussion forums or even very many deeply knowledgeable Rev fliers back then, folks like myself were nearly on our own. You fly in a great era, lots of friendly/helpful folks and tons of resources, glad to see you making use of it all and having fun. Quote
