I especially liked the stall-in-place move at 2:50. I would try flying that thing on a light-tackle fishing pole. I got used to glider flying on a wand, and just can't fly right with the hand-over-hand method. I recently got a Plutz-3 and can't do a darn thing with it. Of course, the 2 times I had it out, I didn't have a wand with me. I have to try something like your Wala XL, but I think the new ITW Manta will be my choice, as soon as it hits the streets !

Hey Must86,

Dont give up on the P3 brother.

Have you flown the Canard Style Gliders Before?

If it is anything like its cousins the Zero-G and Mega, it is a very rewarding glider to fly.

I would like to try the wand, but i like the line running free right now. I can see a benefit of the flex of the wand from many of the videos available and how it would be useful.

Funny thing .... with the standard and the xl, if the breeze is just right ...they will float in place slack lined. It's pretty cool...like the ultimate hover :) I put them up on windy days too...so it was a good choice for now :)

Rob - use the light rod for the P-3, it'll be a lot nicer!!

I'd use a stiffer rod on the XL, too light a wand and the weight will make it feel overpowered! IMHO, of course!
