Matching UL?

When you were considering getting a UL, did you want to match it to the Std kite you already had? Or were you looking for a different animal?

I have a Temptation by KaoS and I couldn't be happier with it. Everyday I learn something new and different about both the kite and me. Just wanting to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

Yes, buy the matching UL to the kite that you like. More than likely, it will fly similar to your standard, just in lighter winds. I have a few full sets, the UL, Std., and vented of the same kite. There are subtle variations that you have to adapt to, but you're also adapting to flying in different wind conditions, as well.

My Sea Devils all fly pretty much the same. There is also the consistency in quality. If you like the way the Kaos is built, the UL will give you that same satisfaction.

Also if you get matching colours the Wife wont know you have 2 kites ;)
Tried that but doesn't work with my genius wife, she says, "So you bought one with holes in it so it will fly slower?" Can't gettaway wit nuttin... Really she is brilliant, gives me advice based on thought & observation that actually works. That is if I swallow my pride & listen. Did I mention that she's a crack shot & has also been banned from playing skill games at amusement parks for winning too much. Claims she's going to take up serious kite flying next time we go to the beach. I'm thinking Ocracoke Island in a couple weeks. Last time I was there you could have flown a mid vent at our table on the porch inside Howard's Pub.

I love my matching ocius! I have a std and UL. Makes me happy. But not alI kites have UL. I found a kite that I love now I want a matching UL. I'm thinking about buying another one and tossing light spars in it and fiddling with the bridle. Low wind seams to be my curse.
