NylonSky
I received my new wind meter for my iPhone yesterday. Seems to give accurate wind speeds but the wind directions are all reversed. I checked my settings and gps and they are all ok. Anyone else have this issue? oldcaptainrusty
I have had mine for a few weeks now and have tried it 6 or 7 times. It seems to be correct as far as wind direction goes.
NylonSky
It's giving me the direction the wind is blowing towards instead of the direction in which it's blowing from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
mystainedskin
I havnt used one.... Could it be as simple as the meter attachment needs to be faced a certain way? I.e. reversed readings. I use the app..... But not an Apple fan,so this setup doesn't work with Android yet from what I've heard.
SparkieRob
Not sure, but some weather apps allow you to set direction to either way: origin or travelling to.
John Barresi
Aye, I'm guessing it just had to do with the orientation (toward or away)... When I ran mine on iPhone more than a few times (all facing into the wind), direction seemed to be accurate. Looked for info about this on the manufacturer's website? NylonSky
I had my back to the wind instead of facing the wind. Makes sense. Feeling dumb now, haha. Thanks for all the help though.
